Colorado Energy $aving Partners program
The Governor's Office and Energy Management and Conservation (OEMC), in cooperation with Public Service Company of Colorado and the Colorado Energy Assistance Foundation, fund the Energy $aving Partners program, which provides cost-effective household energy efficiency or 'weatherization" upgrades to low-income, senior and physically-challenged Coloradoans.

A few simple home improvements can save a homeowner 20 percent on their monthly utility bills. According to a recent survey by Public Service Company of Colorado, one out of four residents who receive weatherization services experience a 37 percent reduction in their heating costs. Weatherization upgrades not only help lower monthly utility bills and reduce energy consumption, but they increase the overall comfort and safety of the home. Eligible housing types include single-family houses, mobile homes and multifamily units - both renters and homeowners. Individuals who receive benefits from a number of low-income assistance programs, such as LIHEAP, SSI, TANF and COAP automatically qualify to receive E$P services.

Since E$P began in 1976, it has successfully provided more than 60,000 Colorado homes with weatherization services. More than 3,000 homes are weatherized each year by local service agencies located in communities throughout the state.
To find out if you or someone you know is eligible for no-cost weatherization services, call toll-free 1-888-HEATLINE (1-888-432-8546). Your local service agency can answer questions about the program and assist with the application process.
